Michael Saag, MD

Michael S. Saag, a physician and distinguished HIV/AIDS researcher affiliated with the University of Alabama at Birmingham, occupies the Jim Straley Chair in AIDS Research. Additionally, he serves as the Director of the Division of Infectious Disease and the William C. Gorgas Center for Geographic Medicine, as well as overseeing the Center for AIDS Research.
